S Y N O P I S
originated from the tragedy of the kidnapping and massacre of eleven Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics in 1972, by a group of Palestinian terrorist group calling themselves Black September. Following these events, formed a secret team assigned to kill the eleven Palestinians suspected of masterminding the massacre.
This retaliatory action directly supervised Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir (Lynn Cohen) who immediately asked for the intelligence services of Israel, Mosaad, to assign his young agent named Avner (Eric Bana). Avner is the task of leading the team of experts to eradicate the eleventh member of the group Black Spetember, who allegedly was in Europe. To that end, Avner gets the assistance of four other agents, namely, Steve (Daniel Craig), Carl (Ciaran Hinds), Hans (Hanns Zischler), and Robert (Mathieu Kassovitz).
Before the action they started, all their identities were released. That is, although they get a job and funding from the government of Israel, they are considered to act on its own behalf. They exist, but it does not exist. In this case Avner facing a dilemma, he must think of wife and her newborn baby, as well as the task which is very likely end in death. Did Avner finish the job?
